My name is Emma and I have had the honor and privilege of being under the guidance and tuition of Linda for the pregnancy and birth of my second daughter Aurora. Linda took not just me but my husband and eldest daughter under her wing from the moment of conception of my second baby, as the service she gives is not just for the pregnant Mama but includes the whole family. My first baby was a C-section (one of the only times a C-section is really necessary, breach, transverse and placenta previa, there was no way she could have come out) and I was devastated that I did not give birth naturally. So for my second I was determined to have a natural birth and do all that I could for me and my baby. In comes Linda…… From the first meeting and consultation my husband and I felt right at ease, from the very first moment we could see, hear and feel that Linda knew what she was talking about and we understood the importance of everything she said. Linda is a fountain of experience and knowledge and is always available if expectant parents have any questions or fears that need answering and releasing. All the way through the pregnancy Linda would send or talk to us about new information that had become available not only about the science, but practical steps that you can take to ensure you have a great stress free pregnancy. Our birthing story is a little unique my husband and I were in the Amazon jungle in north Peru when our baby was due and even though we had midwives, doctors and a hospital at hand, we decided that we did not want their services. And we were so confident in ourselves and in Linda’s guidance that we could birth the baby by ourselves. Please don’t think that we are reckless and we do not recommend this to any new parents and would advise that you do have a doula or midwife with you, even it is just for support. Aurora was born and delivered by my husband, Linda was there on the end of a phone line should we need anything during this time and I have to say it was the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life!! With Linda’s guidance I went through all the stages of birth with no fear and with full presence and really had my rite of passage as a woman. This may sound strange to you if you are a new Mama but you will fully understand when you get there yourself. I recommend Linda’s services to everyone I know that is having a baby, her assistance is invaluable!! I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing birthing goddess!! "I was lucky enough to have Linda present at my first home birth. It went so perfectly. So when I found out I was pregnant again, I knew I wanted to do it with her again! Since she was living in a different country at the time, I was thrilled to be able to have online consultations with her. She is incredibly knowledgeable in all things baby, and always had an answer for my many crazy questions. The convenience of being able to have appointments without having to even leave my bed was definitely a plus too! She even attended my birth online. I was able to hear her words of encouragement and advice. She checked in for days after my birth, which was what I thought was the hardest part of the birth, the healing process. Linda has such inspired ideas and ways of making this time of healing and bonding so special, and easy on the mother.
